OUR STORY
The name of the foundation, ‘Juguemos en el Bosque’, is drawn from a Colombian children’s song which narrates a scene of children playing in a forest while a wolf is slowly getting ready to scare them. The forest is the environment of our children and adolescents, and the most dangerous wolf is the lack of love and support to their dreams. That is why at the foundation our passion is getting alongside our children and adolescents by providing them with opportunities, support and beautiful moments that fill their lives with smiles. Through this we seek to teach them morals and values that they can take with them for the rest of their lives.
OUR PROGRAM
ESCAPE TO THE FOREST
Carries out weekly activities in the homes, with the aim of generating the construction of positive references, based on the learning of values, rights and duties, and recreational-outings. In doing so, it offers the children the opportunity of interacting with the outside world, discovering new places, living new experiences, and experiencing situations dreamed of by any child.
WINGS AND DREAMS
Was created in order to try to support the adolescents and young adults taking part in the program, by offering them professional guidance and tools for emotional and financial intelligence. In addition, it also grants them the opportunity of learning various trades and supports and encourages them to carry out technical or higher studies that allow them to graduate and lead an autonomous life.
